We wish to encourage attendance by participants from less economically developed countries, not least because the habitats and biodiversity of these countries are frequently less degraded by human activities. We have a limited budget to provide support to a small number of delegates, so we encourage organisations and individuals from more affluent countries to consider offering support to their less wealthy counterparts.
In addition, we are seeking additional financial and in-kind support to host this important international gathering.
